Trade Only VISION will be ready for general roll out from January 2012.

Trade Only VISION is designed for small distribution companies, or larger companies with a field sales team. It uses a simpler work flow to PromoServe, and cannot currently be upgraded to include Accounts or Stock Management (it can be integrated with Sage or Quickbooks). If you find that you are not making the most of your PromoServe system, or struggle with some of the more advanced routines, then it's very probable that VISION is a better fit for your company.

Equally if you routinely use a Mac or a tablet such as an iPad, as an internet based system you will have no difficulties accessing VISION whereas you might accessing PromoServe.

If you've already bought Spectrum Catalogues from Trade Only, we'll credit the value of the catalogues covered by your Package Deal, excluding carriage.

If you've bought catalogues from a supplier or catalogue group, Spectrum is an excellent addition and reflects your company in a professional light. Over 70 suppliers contribute products to Spectrum, giving it one of the widest ranges of any catalogue, and with excellent margins of around 40% you can be sure your profit is protected.

We do offer Trade Only VISION without catalogues; for £75 per month you can purchase a single user licence of VISION but it's worth bearing in mind that you will also not receive a Trade Only STORE end user website or virtual catalogue. It does, however, give you the choice of simply using VISION as a standalone order processing system.

Trade Only VISION has been designed with one key objective in mind: to make the quote, sales order and purchase process as smooth and efficient as possible. It is based on ten years' of research, development, user feedback and significant investment in the user experience. It is genuinely very easy to use - and most distributors will be able to pick it up very quickly and with a minimum of help.

Everyone's different, though, and so VISION has lots of mini tutorials and pointers which you can call up from any screen if you get lost. We'll also be running frequent online training sessions which will take no more than 30 minutes to show you all of VISION's key processes. It's that simple - and THAT effective.

Welcome to the industry! You're in the right place as the Spectrum 'Selling Success' Package with VISION is the only system which will give you instant access to the products of 200 trade verified suppliers. With these products you can build quotes, sales orders and purchase orders, create end user websites, and market your services, all for as little as £99 per month.

Initially VISION will support exports to Sage Line 50 2010 V16 and Sage Line 50 V12. Other versions will follow based on user demand.

There will be a data import wizard which will let you match fields and associate image paths, making it as easy as possible to get data on to Trade Only VISION. We will also give you plenty of advice and assistance, including spreadsheet templates which ideally you'd get the supplier to complete on your behalf.

The issue with having your own custom data is that you are ultimately responsible for it. So the accuracy of the data, amends, additions and deletions, lies with you - and it can be a big job.

In an ideal world, 99% of your product data would come from our database, then we take responsibility for it for you. You'll be able to see your specific pricing from suppliers, as opposed the standard trade price, so there won't be any need to have separate price lists to refer to.

  
 
Your personal data is protected by law. Please click here to download the End User Licence Agreement for VISION which covers data security. In terms of the servers upon which your data is hosted, more details will be provided closer to the launch date, but we can say at this stage that there will be robust and far-reaching security protocols in place, including back up servers.
 
Your data will be automatically backed up by Trade Only VISION every day, and if you require a copy of a particular data set it will be possible to provide this. It isn't possible for you to create your own back ups as this could compromise security for other users. This is standard practice for cloud based software.
 
There is additional fail safe protection available if required. A software escrow is available for Trade Only VISION, which, in the event that Trade Only Ltd were to go out of business or unable to fulfil our obligations, would mean you got access to the source code of Trade Only VISION, which would a) mean that you could use the system indefinitely, for no charge and b) develop it in line with your requirements. 
 
The escrow is £125 per year and you will be invited to take it out - however it is extremely unlikely that anything will 'happen' to Trade Only, backed as we are by Altitude PLC.
 
 
We cannot afford for VISION to have any down time, however as with all technological solutions, cases can happen. What's important is how quickly you can react to them and resolve the issue.
 
We made the decision to host in a dedicated Server Farm that has an employee presence 24 hours a day. All our Servers are monitored and and outages trigger a series of email notifications to our key technicians.
 
Finally, any maintenance we carry out on the servers is communicated in advance and carried out, out of hours. Closer to the time we will issue the certificates/documentation that back this up.
 
 
There are approx. 25,000 products forming the core database of Trade Only VISION, and this number is increasing all of the time. We realise that this is a smaller number than advertised by some competitors, and there's a good reason for this.
 
We only feature the product ranges of trade only suppliers, or suppliers who have a strict trade policy. This latter means that the supplier may deal with end users, but they must offer distributors a significant margin enabling them to price competitively and still be profitable.
 
This means your profit margin is protected, and there's no danger of you losing business to unscrupulous suppliers going after your customers.
 
It might seem like a hard line to take but it's what we stand for, and we believe it benefits all distributors to deal only with quality trade suppliers. Not in the respect that Trade Only SEARCH will cease to exist; this will always exist as a stand alone website for distributors who just want a means of finding out who supplies what.

Users of Trade Only VISION will not need to visit Trade Only SEARCH as the full functionality of this is built into the VISION system. The same product database informs both SEARCH and VISION and supplier updates are instantly added to both systems simultaneously.
